The Firm is promoted by CA. G. S. Kamath, [B.Com, F.C.A] in 1967, who is the 12th Rank Holder (awarded Gold Medalist) in the merit list in C.A. Final Exam issued by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He was enrolled as a member of the ICAI in 1967 and has an experience of more than 45 years in almost every facet of the accounting profession. He is the First Chartered Accountant in the of District of North Kanara (Uttara Kannada) in the year 1967 who is now based at Kumta and is well experienced in the area of Taxation, Auditing, Corporate Law and Financial Consultancing services.

CA. G. S. Kamath is the Proprietor of the Firm and in that capacity looks after the entire range of practice relating to Audit, Direct Taxes including planning for corporate and non-resident Indians and rendering of Consultancy on Accounting, Company Law, Taxation matters. He further has extensive exposure to the Indian Accounting and Auditing Standards.

His ability to understand the business environment coupled with his sound financial and accounting background has enabled him to specialize in conducting statutory audits of company.

He has also been involved in preparation of project reports for various small and medium size enterprises and has assisted them in getting their project financed from financial institutions.

Apart from advising clients on various issues under the Income-tax Act, Wealth Tax Act and Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements, he has a vast experience in handling assessment proceedings under the Income-tax Act. He also handles appellate matters before the Commissioner of Income-tax (Appeals) and the Income-tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT).
